Tumbling

Tumbling Class Options Offered at Clayton Cheer Elite

Beginner Tumbling

Ages 5+ years

Beginner tumble is ideal for anyone new to tumbling! This class focuses on the basics, teaching essential skills such as forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and backbends. Perfect for building a strong foundation in tumbling!

Level 1 Tumbling

Ages 5+
Coaches placement required’

In our Level 1 Tumble class, we expand upon the foundational skills, deepening their understanding and building a strong base for skill progression. This class focuses on refining beginner-level techniques like forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, back bends, and handstands, while also introducing more advanced skills such as round-offs, back bend kick-overs, back walkovers and front walkovers.

Level 2 Tumbling

Ages 5+
Coaches’ placement required.

In our Level 2 Tumble class, we further develop the foundational skills honed in Level 1 Tumble, cultivating a sturdy base for skill advancement. This class is dedicated to refining level 1 techniques like round-offs and back walkovers and introduces more advanced skills, including back handsprings, double back handsprings, round-off back handsprings, front walkovers, and front handsprings.

Level 3+ Tumbling

Ages 5+
Coaches’ placement required.

In our Level 3+ class, we focus on solidifying the skills our athletes have acquired, emphasizing the pivotal role of fundamentals as the foundation for mastering more advanced skills. This encompasses skills such as multiple back handsprings, roundoff back handspring tucks, roundoff tucks, aerials, roundoff back handspring layouts, spinning, front tumbling and a diverse range of other advanced elements.

Jump & Stretch

Ages 5+

Jump and Stretch classes are perfect for those aiming to improve both flexibility and jump techniques, including toe touches, pikes, and hurdlers. This class welcomes all levels, even if you’re just starting out. With our proven methods, you’ll see noticeable improvements in your jumps and flexibility within weeks!
